Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has launched a “Malay Proclamation”.
To counter it, and the narrative he is pushing, why can’t a political leader from either Barisan Nasional or Pakatan Harapan launch a “Malaysian Proclamation“?
A proclamation to prevent the country from falling further into debt.
A proclamation to rescue Sabah and Kelantan from sliding further into poverty.
A proclamation to ensure more jobs are created to reduce the level of unemployment, especially among the young.
A proclamation to ensure the nation does not slide further down the corruption perception index.
A proclamation to save this nation from racist politicians.
And finally, a Malaysian Proclamation to save the country from politicians who have outlived their usefulness and have overstayed their welcome.
It may be the remedy to the narrow views of a narcissistic politician who wants to be remembered as a statesman. - FMT
