SUNGAI BULOH: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today reiterated his decision to not allow another Employee Provident Fund (EPF) withdrawal for the people.
Anwar said even though the withdrawals were not considered a popular decision, contributors' money must be taken care of for future use.
"The contributors' money is like a promise and an 'akad' which is underlined under the EPF agreement for future use
"However, it was allowed to be withdrawn previously due to the pandemic," he said in his keynote address when officiating EPF's Kwasa Damansara branch, here, today.
