DAP unveiled its 11 candidates for the Negeri Sembilan state election last night.
Out of that number, 10 are incumbents including party secretary-general Anthony Loke.
Other notable incumbents being retained are caretaker state exco member Teo Kok Seong, as well as Seremban Jaya incumbent Gunasekaren Palasamy - who was charged and later acquitted on a case involving the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE).
The only change is in Rahang, where party veteran and two-term incumbent Mary Josephine Pritam Singh is making way for a new face.
Loke (above), in a statement yesterday, said Mary Josephine had voluntarily decided not to defend her seat.
DAP will be fielding state DAP treasurer Siau Meow Kong in Rahang instead.
The Negeri Sembilan DAP candidates are:
N1 Chennah - Anthony Loke
N8 Bahau – Teo Kok Seong
N10 Nilai - Arul Kumar Jambunathan
N11 Lobak – Chew Seh Yong
N12 Temiang – Ng Chin Tsai
N21 Bukit Kepayang - Tan Lee Koon
