Kedah PAS: 'Technical error' led to 4 sharing same credentials

 

STATE POLLS | Kedah PAS claimed a technical error led to four candidates contesting under the Perikatan Nasional (PN) ticket in the state poll, sharing the same educational qualification.

"There are four candidates sharing the same educational background. This happened due to an error by the designer who used the same template but missed out on changing the details of the individual candidates.

"The error only happened when the templates were aired (at the unveiling of the state PN candidates), but the emcee correctly read out the candidates' qualifications," Kedah PAS information chief Mohd Azam Abd Samat said in a statement published in Harakahdaily today.

"The organiser does not have the intent to provide incorrect information and apologises for the error."

Earlier, a netizen raised concern over four Kedah PN candidates sharing the same educational profile.

They are Radhi Mat Din (Alor Mengkudu), Rashidi Abdul Razak (Anak Bukit), Dzowahir Ab Ghani (Suka Menanti), and Chuah See Seng (Kota Darul Aman) - all of whom were listed as having a Degree in Business Management from the Marshall Huntington University in the United States.

While questioning whether the four were 'classmates', the netizen tagged the university asking to verify their credentials.
