MUDA PROVES A POINT, H20 SHOULD ALSO MAKE A POINT

Syed Sadik's decision to leave the PH and sit on the Opposition bench in Parliament has raised questions about that anti hopping law. As I said before it is a really stupid law which achieves I dont know what.

So here Syed Sadik has not breached the anti hopping law because his party Muda is an independent party. He did not team up with PH until after the election results were out. Plus he is the party president as well as its only MP.

But what would have happened if say Muda had more than one MP, say two MPs and the second MP did not agree to switch over to the Opposition bench? Only Syed Sadik moved. Then lets say Syed Sadik the president does not initiate any disciplinary action against the second MP (this is hypothetical ok) who refused to move with him. Because there are only two MPs and he does not want to lose an MP. Plus they may disagree on only this issue. So how? This is not an impossible scenario. The anti hopping law will have no effect.

Or say there was only one MP in Muda but it was not Syed Sadik. So the president (who is not an MP) breaks with the PH but the party's MP decides to stay with the PH in Parliament. Is that a breach of the anti hopping law?

I think the anti hopping law is an ass and if there is a change in gomen this law must be abolished asap.

Now we come to Hishamuddin Hussein Onn or H2O. H2O has already been suspended (from UMNO) for six years by DNAA. This means he is certainly NOT going to be fielded as an UMNO Parliamentary candidate anymore. His career in UMNO has ended.  The same is true of H2O allied MPs within UMNO. There are supposed to be between six to 20 of them (exact count unknown).

So what does H2O have to lose if he switches allegiance now? Only his MP status (because of the anti hopping law). Is that really such a big deal? He plus any of his friends can force by elections. If done right they could bring forth a change in gomen. If they can change the gomen then they can immediately abolish the anti hopping law and get a second chance. I am just exploring possibilities.
