
KUALA LUMPUR: A TikTok video featuring a market vendor capturing a large snake with his bare hands has gone viral, garnering over 2.5 million views and 118,200 likes.
The 75-second clip, filmed at Khlong Toei Market, located some 4.5km from Bangkok, shows the vendor calmly capturing the snake as it resists, pulling back its tail.
However, he skillfully gains control, gripping it firmly and dragging it across the road.
He is soon assisted by another man armed with a stick, who helps secure the reptile.
TikTok user @cj_chop, who uploaded the video, captioned it: "When you come to Khlong Toei Market to buy goods, you become a victim," perfectly capturing the unexpected situation.
Netizens were captivated by the scene, flooding the comments with jokes and amusement.
User @lie.ems joked: "Back to the kitchen, he said."
Another user, @yaimaipyk, quipped: "The man is catching that snake as if it's a snake doll."
