Foreigner rescued after threatening to jump from 10th floor of flats

 

The man, 27, was found behaving aggressively, breaking the glass window panels and threatening to jump, before the authorities rescued him.

PETALING JAYA: 

A 27-year-old foreigner was rescued after he threatened to jump from the 10th floor of a flats in Bandar Baru Sentul, Kuala Lumpur, yesterday evening.

Sentul police chief Sukarno Zahari confirmed receiving a report at 5.12pm yesterday on the incident which took place at the Seri Perak flats.

He said the man was found by members of the public outside the window of a unit on the 10th floor.

“He was found behaving aggressively, breaking the glass window panels and threatening to jump. Authorities later managed to rescue the man,” said Sukarno in a statement.

Police suspect the man may have been under the influence of drugs.
