Sofia Rini Buyong could face up to two years in prison, a fine, or both upon conviction.

Bukit Aman criminal investigation department director M Kumar confirmed that the woman would be charged at the Kuala Lumpur magistrates’ court, reported Harian Metro.
“She will be charged under Section 500 of the Penal Code (for defamation),” he said.
If found guilty, she could face up to two years in prison, a fine, or both upon conviction.
A video of Sofia making several allegations against Anwar had previously gone viral, including claims that his former aides had acted on his instructions to siphon national funds and stash them overseas.
Anwar has stressed that any allegations linking him to funds stashed offshore must be backed by solid evidence.
He said his administration, focussed on the numerous demands associated with managing the country, could not address every unsupported claim shared online. - FMT
