On 20th May 2009, Malaysian Airlines (MAS) wrote to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and lodged a report (no. 119/2009) with regards to an act of corruption by its previous Executive Chairman, Tan Sri Tajudin Ramli, which MAS asked the MACC to investigate. The MACC report also refers to two previous police reports made on 4th January 2002 and 4th May 2004.
