CAREFUL, THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU: Man 'car-jacked' while sleeping in BACKSEAT

KUALA LUMPUR - Police urged the public to help in the search of a 25-year-old man who was believed to be kidnapped when the car he was in, was carjacked at the Petronas outlet in Bukit Jelutong in Shah Alam this evening.

Iskandar Zulkarnain was sleeping in the backseat of a white Subaru XV with the registration number WXQ 191 while his parents went into the convenience store.

The victim's mother, Roswati Ahmad, said she left her son while she and her husband went into the convenience store and were shocked when they came out to find the vehicle which they had left with the engine still running, missing.

The family lodged a police report at Shah Alam police headquarter.

Shah Alam district police chief Assistant Commissioner Zahedi Ayob said they were looking for the vehicle and launched a public appeal for help in the search.
