Kita dikejutkan lagi dengan insiden tembak mati. Kali ini Ahmad Rafli Abdul Malek, 49, Ketua Penolong Pengarah Penguatkuasa Jabatan Agama Islam Pahang (JAIP) menjadi sasaran. Allahyarham ditembak petang Ahad tadi.
Allahyarham dipercayai ditembak sebanyak tiga kali di hadapan rumahnya, di Indera Mahkota 2, Pahang. Tembakan dilakukan sekumpulan lelaki berjubah warna hitam dan berkopiah yang menaiki kereta Wira Aeroback berwarna putih . Kejadian itu dilaporkan berlaku kira-kira jam 2.30 petang tadi.
Punca kejadian masih dalam siasatan pihak polis. Motif pembunuhan mempunyai kaitan dengan ketegasan Allahyarham mengambil tindakan ke atas kumpulan syiah yang wujud di Pahang. Kumpulan lelaki berkenaan dikatakan melakukan balas dendam.

IGP urges Tuhan Haron members to surrender
KUALA LUMPUR: Police have urged members of an alleged cult to surrender at the nearest police station to assist in murder investigations involving a Pahang Islamic Religious Department (JAIP) official.
Inspector General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar in urging the 31 followers of the Tuhan Haron cult, also said that the police had identifed the locations of these members.
“We are looking at all angle so my advise is for the 31members of the cult group known as Tuhan Haron to surrender.
“My men have already moved to locate and to investigate the matter and we are taking it seriously,” Khalid said.
Earlier speculations showed that the murder of the JAIP official was connected with the recent gazetting of anti-syiah laws in Pahang as the state religious authorities were planning to gazette a fatwa to curb the teaching of syiah.
The JAIP official, 49-year-old Ahmad Rafli Abdul Malek, was shot twice in the chest and died on the spot at his house in Indera Mahkota 2 yesterday afternoon.
At 2.30pm yesterday, three men all in black apparel and skullcaps appeared at the front gate of Ahmad Rafli’s house in a white proton Wira Aeroback before firing three shots at the victim.
Pahang CID chief SAC Mohd Zakaria Ahmad confirmed the shooting and said investigations are underway.
Meanwhile it was reported that Ahmad Rafli was involved in the arrest of the deviant Tuhan Haron group whose leader Harun Mat Saad was charged at a Sessions court in Kota Baru for taking RM 40 million in deposit from several companies and his followers.
It was learnt that the victim was also invoved in several night club raids in Kuantan recently.
