Many of us who were attending the Friday prayers today cringed in disgust listening to the venom being spread through the Khutbah @ Sermon today.
The topic for today's venomous sermon was titled ' Perangkap Alam Maya' meaning 'The Cyber Trap'.
Amongst the contents was laying the blame on the internet for the downfall of several Middle Eastern rogue dictators whom MAIWP referred to as 'pemimpin Islam' @ ' Muslim leaders!
Really? Don't these fellows check as to the background of those rogues who were removed from power by their own people?
Talk about IT ignorants badmouthing a very useful telecommunication network service!
There are much more harmful immoral broadcasted television programs causing much more damage to the mindset of impressionable naive members of the Muslim masses than what the internet provides!
Its like blaming the knife for the deaths of some people when in actuality they should be holding the killers accountable!
Damn crazy!
I seriously believe that if Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam was alive and amongst us today, the Blessed Messenger would be using the internet and hold live video conferences with us, his ummah worldwide!
