The couple of a young girl reported her missing after she left the house at 8am and never returned.
KUCHING: A couple is worried sick about the safety of their daughter who has not returned home since Thursday (March 19), after she left home in Kampung Seberang, Sebuyau, about 150 miles from here.
According to the girl’s father, Wan Ahmad Tku Sapiee (rpt Tku), 58, the family only realised that Sharifah Nurul Nazihah Wan Ahmad, 18, was missing after one of his children informed them that her sister had left the house in the morning and had not returned home at 6.20pm.
“During that time, my wife and the other children were not home because we had some matters to attend to at the Sarawak General Hospital in Kuching and there were only the two of them at home.
“She (other daughter) said Nazihah left the house while she was asleep and she only realised her sister missing at around 8am,” he said here yesterday.
Wan Ahmad said based on information from neighbours, they saw Nazihah leaving the house wearing a headscarf, red shirt and black pants and boarding a van that was heading for the Kuching International Airport.
He said following this, a police report was lodged the same day.
Wan Ahmad said the last he met his daughter was on Tuesday and she appeared normal.
Wan Ahmad has urged anyone with information on his daughter to contact him at 019-598 9437.
