Kelantan's poor flood management last year was due to the state government's failure to cooperate with the National Security Council, says Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed. – The Malaysian Insider pic, March 30, 2015.The National Security Council (NSC) has revealed that Kelantan's poor flood management last year was due to the state government's failure to cooperate with the council, said Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed today.
Nur Jazlan said this lack of cooperation led to uncoordinated aid effort between Putrajaya and the state government.
The Pulai MP, who was informed of the matter at a hearing with NSC today, said apart from that, the council admitted the weaknesses on their part in anticipating the flood last year.
"They (NSC) admit that there were weaknesses in the planning and managing stage of the flood," he said.
