Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin found out about his ouster from the Cabinet while on the way to launch an international school in Sendayan, Negri Sembilan yesterday morning, less than an hour before his boss Datuk Seri Najib Razak made the official announcement.
The former deputy prime minister said he was told of the matter by the Prime Minister's Office when he was on the way to the function.
"I realised then that it was my last function," he told a packed press conference at his residence in Bukit Damansara today.
