Acquaintances of prime minister’s wife Rosmah Mansor will have to put aside their grass skirts and other Hawaiian apparel as there is no such themed party to celebrate her birthday.
Rosmah’s aide, Rizal Mansor, has denied that such an event will be occurring as part of her birthday celebrations.
“Contrary to what that has been spread around, there is no such event. Please take note,” he said in a Facebook post last night.
He was responding to a supposed birthday invitation that was widely spread online inviting guests to the aloha-themed birthday party.
The invitation states that the birthday bash will be held on Dec 13 at 2.30pm.
"Guests" were asked to RSVP to two apparent Prime Minister’s Office staff based on the e-mails of the duo as stated in the invitation.
Guests were told to make their way to the banquet hall of the Seri Perdana complex in Putrajaya, the prime minister’s official residence.
Rosmah will turn 64 come Dec 10. -Mkini
