Even Internet Speeds Are Slow

Hi folks. In Sabah for a couple of nights.  Sabah is always bright, sunny, beautiful blue seas and blue skies.  Here is a picture of the Waterfront area in KK.

And wonderful friendly people the moment you step off the plane. Its a different disposition here.

Have been receiving plenty of New Year messages, emails, smses, wattsapp etc. Thank you all.

Also received the following graphic on Internet speeds :

Look at Thailand folks. Their Internet speed is three times faster than ours. Singapore is about 12 times faster.

The three Muslim majority countries in ASEAN ie Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei have the slowest Internet speeds in ASEAN. Only Laos and the Philippines are slower than us.

Tambah lagi, Brunei, Indonesia and Malaysia are oil producing countries. The "curse of oil" again.

You know what this means. Someone is going to get an RM3.0 Billion contract to bring our Internet speed to match Thailand or something.  Dua untuk kau, satu untuk aku.
