The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) hosted a farewell function for its chief commissioner Abu Kassim Mohamed and his two deputies this afternoon.
Abu Kassim has officially announced his retirement after 32 years of service.
The banner placed outside MACC's headquarters in Putrajaya today, however, also confirmed initial rumours on the departure of MACC deputy commissioner (operations) Mohd Shukri Abdull and MACC deputy commissioner (prevention) Mustafar Ali.
It is understood that Shukri has also retired from service.
Mustafar, meanwhile, is believed to have been offered a new position as director-general of a federal agency.
At about 2.45pm, Mustafar was spotted leaving the MACC building.
He had earlier reportedly told Astro Awani Online that he would be meeting with Chief Secretary Ali Hamsa at 3pm.
