MAKE NO MISTAKE, PAS VOLCANO IS BOILING & ABOUT TO ERUPT: THEY ARE ANGRY ‘A FEW SELECT LEADERS FORGED SECRET RELATIONSHIP WITH UMNO’ – MAT SABU

PAS members are venting their anger and frustrations over the out-of-court settlement between Abdul Hadi Awang and Sarawak Report to Amanah president Mohamad Sabu.
The PAS leaders have consistently denied accepting any Umno money, said Mohamad, or better known as Mat Sabu, in a statement.
PAS members are angry over Hadi’s U-turn in the defamation suit filed against Clare Rewcastle Brown, Mat Sabu said, adding that his fellow Amanah leaders have also received similar messages from their PAS friends.
Hadi’s decision to settle the case is proof that there exists a “secret relationship” between the two parties despite repeated denials in the past, he said.
“PAS used to pride itself as a party that made decisions based on consensus. Ties were forged with Semangat 46, DAP and PKR through consensus in the past,” he said.
But in the case of Umno, a few “select” leaders forged the relationship with their “enemy” in secret.
Amanah Youth, Patriot and several other leaders said the PAS leaders should give a full account on why they decided to settle out of court.
PAS owes it to Malaysians to tell the truth, especially members who donated towards Hadi’s legal expenses, they said.

‘Selamat datang, MACC’ – unfazed Nik Abduh welcomes ‘RM90m’ probe

PAS central committee member Nik Mohamad Abduh Abdul Aziz has welcomed MACC’s investigation into the allegation that several leaders of the Islamist party received funds amounting to RM90 million from Umno.
Taking to Twitter this morning, he said PAS is unfazed by the investigation.
“PAS feeling pressured? Not at all. Selamat datang, MACC,” he added.
Nik Abduh, the son of the late PAS spiritual leader Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, also suggested that the Islamist party is expected to face more pressure from MACC as its influence grows.
“Everyone knows, the more powerful PAS (becomes), the more powerful MACC,” he tweeted.
The RM90 million and a purported audio recording of Nik Abduh resurfaced after PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang agreed to an out of court settlement over a defamation suit he had filed against website Sarawak Report in London.
The suit was filed over a news report which suggested that PAS received RM90 million from former premier Najib Abdul Razak.
The audio recording was submitted by Sarawak Report editor Clare Rewcastle-Brown as evidence with regard to the case.
It is alleged that the recording contains Nik Abduh’s remarks about RM2 million he received from Umno.
Both PAS and Najib have dismissed the RM90 million allegation.
Earlier today, Malaysiakini reported that PAS pledged its full cooperation to MACC with regard to the investigation.
Party secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan said PAS is prepared to surrenderall documents required for the investigation, including bank statements.  – MKINI
