STOP BEHAVING AS IF UMNO IS STILL IN CHARGE: MILITARY VETERANS GROUP WANTS IGP TO ARREST OPPOSITION-FUNDED MASTERMINDS BEHIND RACIAL HATE MESSAGES ON SOCIAL MEDIA – FIRST THEY CREATE HATE AGAINST THE CHINESE VIA DAP, THEN THEY CREATE HATE AGAINST THE INDIANS WITH FIREMAN ADIB’S DEATH – WITH MALAYS ALWAYS IN FEAR, UNREST & INSTABILITY A MATTER OF TIME

POLICE must arrest those behind a social media message claiming the National Patriots Association (Patriot) is working with DAP to destroy the Armed Forces Fund Board, or better known by its Malay acronym LTAT.
The veterans’ association president brig-gen (rtd) Mohamed Arshad Raji said such social media postings are “concocted to incite hatred among the Malay masses” in general, and Umno-PAS members and supporters in particular and should be arrested for incitement.
Politicians who propagated such lies should also be arrested, he said in a statement today.
He said the post is pitting the Chinese against the Malays when they targeted DAP and Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng and accusing the party and the latter of sabotaging the “fund base” of the Malays.

“In the case of the Armed Forces Fund Board, Patriot is the named accomplice of DAP.
“Such viral messages are part of political psychological warfare.”
Arshad said the “concocted stories”, the work of spin masters, are disseminated widely so that politicians can use as attack weapons during the coming Rantau by-election.
Patriot saw similarities in the accusation against it with online campaigns in past two by- elections.
The modus operandi was the same, he said, citing the Cameron Highlands by-election as an example where the death of fireman Muhamad Adib Mohd Kassim was exploited in ways to heap blame on Indians.
Implying that the online attacks could be the work of cyber troopers, Arshad said the opposition parties have no strong issues against the Pakatan Harapan ruling coalition.
“As such, issues have to be created and used as attack weapons. These are aimed at putting PH in the defensive, and to incite hatred with intent to secure vote bank of a certain ethnic group.”
He said the result of such campaigning tactic is a divisive society, “with hate and distrust among the populace”.
“It is disgusting. This nonsense of spinning to incite hatred must stop,” Arshad said.
