KOTA KINABALU: Former Sabah chief minister Musa Aman was received by throngs of supporters when he arrived at the Sandakan airport earlier today in his first public appearance in his constituency in a while.
The Sungai Sibuga assemblyman is scheduled to host a breaking-of-fast event at his residence in Kampung Sungai Kayu this evening, his first official function in the Sabah east coast district since the May 9 general election last year.
He was greeted by enthusiastic supporters, who also chanted his name, as he walked out of the arrival hall at about 8am.
Musa has been keeping a low profile since last year’s polls amid a series of corruption charges brought against him. - FMT
