If the Muslim Brotherhood is like 'Specter' - the global octopus in James Bond movies - then Qatar is the headquarters of Spectre.
For the past 57 years Qatar has become the ground zero of the Muslim Brotherhood. (The other country is actually Switzerland). If the head of Spectre (in the James Bond movies) is Stavro Blofeld (or Number 1) then the equivalent character in the Muslim Brotherhood is Yusuf Qardawi.
Qaradawi has remained in Qatar since 1961. He was protected by the Al Thani princes, who gave him a diplomatic passport.
Cables published by WikiLeaks have revealed the huge proprerties of Qaradawi: “(C) Dr. Yousef al-Qaradawi, 79, comes from the Muslim Brotherhood movement in Egypt. At odds with Gamal Abdel Nasser’s regime, he came to Doha in 1962. He developed strong ties with Qatari leadership that continue to today. He was granted Qatari citizenship in 1968 by Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani who was then Heir Apparent (at the time). Qaradawi has been granted other privileges by the Qatari government; in particular, he was given substantial properties including villas, which he rents, and the building which houses the Ruling Family Council, an organization of the Al Thani family.
Lets cut to the quick. The Muslim Brotherhood has their agents in Malaysia.
