Covid-19: Tok Pa still under observation, urges all to follow rules

 

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Economy) Mustapa Mohamed is still under observation after receiving 11 days of treatment for Covid-19.

He wrote on Facebook that doctors still needed to treat his lungs, but he was otherwise feeling better.

"Oxygen levels, blood pressure and appetite are all okay, but not at 100 percent," he wrote.

Mustapa, who is the Jeli MP, also paid tribute to the staff at the Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, who he said had worked tirelessly.

Mustapa warned the public that Covid-19 was still a threat, while hospitals and intensive care units were filling up.

"Take care of yourselves and your family. The rakyat must follow the SOPs 100 percent. Enforcement teams must not compromise.

"The people and enforcement personnel must take instructions from (Senior Minister) Ismail Sabri Yaakob and (Health Ministry director-general) Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah seriously," he said.

Meanwhile, Mustapa urged politicians - regardless of their affiliations - to reduce "politicking" and keep political temperatures in check.

"Please heed the decree of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to save lives and livelihoods," he said.
