PETALING JAYA: The office of the Johor menteri besar at Kota Iskandar will be temporarily closed from tomorrow until Tuesday for sanitisation.
In a statement, the menteri besar’s office said it will be closed from Jan 31 to Feb 2 for cleaning and sanitisation work, adding that it was “to break the Covid-19 chain of infection”.
Appointments will be postponed to a later date, while those with urgent matters may contact the relevant officers, it said.
The statement did not reveal who had been infected.
This will be the second office of a menteri besar to close temporarily because of Covid-19.
On Thursday, it was reported that the Kedah menteri besar’s office at Wisma Darul Aman would be closed from Jan 31 to Feb 2 following a Covid-19 case at a state government department located in the building. - FMT
