COVID-19 | The Health Ministry today reported 19,550 new Covid-19 cases.
Data on deaths today was not included in Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah's statement.
Also not disclosed was the number of active cases.
Malaysiakini understands these statistics will be uploaded to the ministry's CovidNow tracker and Github repository around midnight.
- Patients in ICU: 1,247 [Positive: 936; Suspected: 311]
- Intubated: 667 [Positive: 453; Suspected: 214]
Sarawak continued to top the list, recording more than 3,000 new Covid-19 cases for the seventh consecutive day, fast becoming an emerging epicentre of the pandemic.
Meanwhile, seven other states also recorded four digits gain in fresh infections with Selangor, Johor and Sabah being particularly elevated.

The number of people in hospital has been easing, with only two states - Penang and Johor - over 100 percent capacity. Only Perlis and Kelantan are at over 90 percent
