JOHOR BARU: All civil servants in Johor will receive a special payment of half a month's salary or a minimum of RM1,000, says Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad.
He said the special payout would also cover religious school teachers, those working at community-based rehabilitation centres, and religious kindergarten teachers.
“We expect the payout to be made by the end of this year.
"This is a way to appreciate the services of civil servants who are vital in ensuring the success of the development agenda and welfare of the state.
"They are the backbone (of the) administration in the state,” he said during the unveiling of Johor's Budget 2022 here on Thursday (Nov 18). - Star
