Covid-19 PICKids vaccination to begin tomorrow

KUALA LUMPUR: The Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee (JKJAV) today released a list of selected vaccination centres (PPV) in the Klang Valley for those aged between five and 11 years old.

In a Facebook post, the special committee said parents or guardians can select the respective PPV name or postcode to book their child's vaccination appointment slot via the MySejahtera application.

"The vaccination appointment booking links for children (five-11 years old) are currently being released in stages on MySejahtera for parents or guardians in the Klang Valley who have registered their children on the app."

The appointment-based vaccination drive called the PICKids programme will begin tomorrow (Feb 3).

The integrated PPVs in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur offering vaccinations starting tomorrow are the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur, Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil and Ideal Convention Centre (IDCC) in Shah Alam.

Starting Saturday (Feb 5), the selected off-site PPVs that offer appointment-based inoculation are Dahlia Medical Group, Zain Azrai (Bukit Idaman), Dewan Komuniti Sungai Choh, Dahlia Medical Group Taman Bidara, Wyndham Hotel Klang (George Clinic), Klang Parade, Mutiara Subang (Klinik Siti), Poliklinik Prima, IOI City Tower 1, International Youth Centre, Paradigm Mall, Centrepoint Bandar Utama, Subang Parade, Dewan MDKS Saujana Utama (George Clinic), Da Men Mall, Dewan Serbaguna SS15, Grand Season Hotel (George Clinic) and Dewan Seri Bernam (Miosh).

Other off-site PPVs are Dewan Orang Ramai Ampang Mewah, Dewan Serbaguna Seroja in Putra Perdana, Dewan Serbaguna Kota Damansara (George Clinic), Port Klang Authority (IHEAL Medical Centre), Aeon Mall Bukit Raja (Poliklinik Perdana), Emporis Primer Cherang Klinik Kota Damansara and Mines 2 Convention Centre (IHEAL Medical Centre).

An estimated four million children aged five to 12 are eligible to receive the vaccine.

To date, 484,639 children aged five to 12 have registered on MySejahtera. - NST
