PUTRAJAYA: Free shuttle bus services will be provided from KL Sentral to Parliament House for MPs and parliamentary staff at the next parliamentary session.
Transport minister Loke Siew Fook said the Speaker, Johari Abdul, had also agreed with the bus service proposal. Further discussions would be held on security and the use of a permanent pass to enter the Parliament compound.
The introduction of the bus service is an effort to reduce congestion in the area as well as encourage people to use public transport.
The Dewan Rakyat is scheduled to begin its first sitting on Feb 13. - FMT
