MAINSTREAM MEDIA IS DEAD. IN ONE MONTH CNN GOT ONLY 83,000 VIEWS !!

The young woman says that in a one month period CNN received 83,000 views. That is far less than my blog.

By the way I really wish to thank all my readers who have now taken my total pageviews past 105 MILLION. Thank you very much for your reading my views. 

Recently I posted something about the whole world absolutely having no idea how advanced China has become. That post alone received almost 20,000 views. 

• There is interesting and perhaps useful news. Like how advanced China has become.
• There is silly news. Like some Islamic country misbehaving again.
• There is silly news that threatens you. Like some lebais misbehaving. Or the retards talking rubbish again.
• There is silly news that does not threaten you.  Like some lebais misbehaving. Or retards talking crap again.
  

• But the reality is mainstream media is dead. 
• The question is WHY? 
• Because they do not speak the truth.
• They may tell lies.
• They do not tell you the whole story.
• They hide the truth.
• They take instructions (BBC, CNN, ABC, etc)
  
• They are just chicken shit frightened.

Plus the public has this huge ocean of information and news available at their fingertips - the alternative media.  The phrase 'social media' is apt too because 'social' refers to the society.

With today's hand held technology, a fellow can broadcast an entire news program while walking in the streets in any city in the world using just a smart phone. You can see direct, uncut, unfiltered news. 

President Trump's White House has now created front row seats during White House press briefings for the Social Media. Bloggers, podcasters and other social media have been given front row seats inside the White House.

WHY? Because Donald Trump is the great equaliser? Perhaps.

But there are more real and relevant reasons. 

As that young woman in the video says, CNN got only 83,000 views in that one month (May?) That is less than my Blog OutSyed The Box.

To digress, some years back I was asked to help assess an offer by some fellows representing  F*RTUNE magazine who wanted to SELL a F*rtune magazine franchise for this area. The offer was confusing. The point was, F*rtune magazine was being put up for sale!! As the world turns.

I believe the same is happening here in Malaysia. I think the mainstream media is quite dead.

Who reads the mainstream media.  I know for a fact that I do not subscribe or buy mainstream media. We stopped our newspaper subscriptions like 20 years ago. I only read pop ups online or what someone sends me which I then refer or paraphrase (what I often say "truncated, adapted"). 

I read plenty of online stuff. Nowadays if you want to read about Pakistan and India you can read Kashmir Times or Dawn online. Or go on YouTube and listen to Republic TV, WION, The Print. For news about Russia / Ukraine there is RT (Russia Today). Plus many YouTube channels. You get the news and the analysis directly from those places. 

So who needs the mainstream media?
So to all those schools of journalism, please reassess your future.  
To all those advertisers, reassess your advertising channels. 
To the politicians, you want to be on the alternative media.
Mainstream media is dead.
