DAP Youth chief tells 'slander king' Razman to self-reflect

DAP Youth chief Woo Kah Leong has urged Perak opposition leader Razman Zakaria to do some self-introspection.

This is after Razman - whom Woo dubbed the 'slander king' - posted another video making various allegations aimed at DAP, including for having unconstitutional principles and supporting communism.

"When your own party suspends you from your post due to fears for its reputation, Razman should self-reflect and confront all his actions and slander he has done," the DAP leader said, referencing unconfirmed reports that Razman (above) was suspended as Perak PAS chief.

Razman in a video posted on social media yesterday, harped on DAP's Setapak Declaration that sought for racial equality, saying it was unconstitutional and sought to undermine the Malays.

To this, Woo asked if DAP's struggle to defend all races was unconstitutional, why didn’t the previous Perikatan Nasional government take action to dissolve the party?

He then dismissed the unconstitutional claim as PAS making seasonal allegations, especially during polls.

Linking DAP to communists

Razman also sought to tie DAP to the return of former communist leader Chin Peng's ashes to Perak in 2019 before it was scattered into the sea and forests.

Woo said that he had explained in the Perak legislature before that many Chinese were also victims of the communists, with a lot of families destroyed during the insurgency.

"There has never been a DAP leader that defended communist actions, the entire party stands in solidarity with all soldiers regardless of race who have fought against the communists," he added.

The DAP Youth chief also reminded Razman that a PAS leader who previously tried to link Chin Peng to DAP was penalised over RM800,000 after losing a defamation suit.

This was in reference to Kepala Batas MP Siti Mastura Muhammad who had claimed that DAP leaders were relatives of the former communist leader. - Mkini
