The agreement aims to boost supplies of resin and naphtha, says the health ministry.

PETALING JAYA: The health ministry has signed an agreement with China to boost supplies of resin and naphtha which are key raw materials in the production of medical devices.
The deal would ensure continued production of critical medical devices, the ministry said, as global energy disruptions have strained supply chains.
However, while the war on Iran had directly affected the availability of raw materials, the nation’s supply of medical devices remained stable and under control, a ministry statement said. - FMT
