The Attorney-General’s Chambers says a review of the investigation papers found insufficient evidence to establish the offence of criminal intimidation.

PETALING JAYA: The Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) has classified its investigation into allegations of criminal intimidation made by controversial businessman Albert Tei against former Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief Azam Baki as “no further action” (NFA).
The AGC said a review of the investigation papers opened under Section 506 of the Penal Code found insufficient evidence to establish the offence of criminal intimidation.
“Accordingly, it has been decided that the investigation paper be classified as NFA,” it said in a statement.
Bukit Aman’s criminal investigation department had launched an investigation following Tei’s claim that Azam had threatened him in connection with an alleged Sabah corruption scandal. - FMT
