The PN election director says Bersatu’s objections are noted, but the decision was made by the Supreme Council.

Sanusi said the matter has already been settled at the highest decision-making level of the coalition and declined to comment further on objections raised by Bersatu.
“That, I don’t want to comment on. It is not within my locus standi to respond, as it was already decided in the PN Supreme Council meeting through a majority vote,” he told reporters after chairing the PN seat negotiation committee meeting for the Johor state election at the PAS headquarters.
“I don’t want to comment further. It is up to Bersatu’s perspective. I only handle PN’s seat negotiations.”

PCM was rebranded as Wawasan following a takeover by former Bersatu deputy president Hamzah Zainudin.
Hamzah previously said questions over the party’s registration status should not arise as it had only undergone a name change from an existing registered entity.
Bersatu had earlier accused PN chairman Ahmad Samsuri Mokthar of pushing through the admission of PCM, despite unresolved issues involving the Registrar of Societies (RoS).
Party vice-president Ahmad Faizal Azumu claimed that the application was irregular and that its membership could worsen internal tensions within the coalition. - FMT
