The approval follows its successful completion of the air operator certificate variation process.

The approval follows the successful completion of the AOC variation process, the airline said in a Facebook post today.
The approval includes its first passenger aircraft, the Boeing 737-800 (9M-ASG), in its operations specifications, marking a significant step forward towards commencing passenger operations.
A total of three such passenger aircraft are expected to be operating under aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance (Acmi) arrangements by the end of 2026.
According to Ascend Airways, this achievement reflects the dedication, discipline and collaboration of the entire team, alongside the close coordination and guidance of CAAM throughout the AOC variation process.
Ascend Airways Malaysia is a Malaysia-based airline and part of the global Acmi provider, Avia Solutions Group. - FMT
