Najib chairs first Cabinet meeting of 2011

PUTRAJAYA, Jan 5 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak today chaired the first Cabinet meeting of 2011 at Bangunan Perdana Putra here.

Najib, attired in a grey suit, arrived at 9.20am for the meeting which began 10 minutes later.

Almost all the Cabinet ministers were in the meeting room when the prime minister arrived.

Among them were Information Communication and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim, Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai and Human Resource Minister Datuk Dr S. Subramaniam.

Also present was Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan and several other government officers. — Bernama
