A meeting to discuss the appeal of parties dissatisfied with the awarding of the Public Service Department (PSD) scholarships will be held on Tuesday.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Aziz said he would be chairing the meeting, scheduled to be held at his office in Parliament in the afternoon.
“PSD director-general Datuk Seri Abu Bakar Abdullah will be attending the meeting.
“Representatives from Barisan Nasional's component parties such as MCA, MIC and Gerakan who wanted to bring up appeals by students had been informed of the meeting.
“I hope that all parties will be present and as requested by Prime Minister (Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak), all appeals would be deliberated and a decision made in front of representatives of political parties,” he told reporters after closing the Padang Rengas Rukun Tetangga Family Day here on Saturday.
