Civil societies in Malaysia take great concern of the murder of Mr Murugan A/L Kandasamy, the political aide for Tapah PKR candidate Vasanatha Kumar, which was highly suspicious during the general election campaign in Tapah, Perak.
We believe that the murder was political motivated and the most violent incident during the 13th general election and we urge the Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar to form a special task force consists of high ranking officers to carry out the investigation.
Representatives from civil societies will be submitting a memorandum to the newly appointed Inspector General of Police. Details as below:
