KUALA LUMPUR - Five Vietnamese women suspected to be involved in prostitution, were rounded up by police in a raid at a premises in Taman Wangsa Permai near Kepong last night.
The 11pm raid was conducted by six personnel from the federal police vice, led by Inspector Muhammad Mohd Jais.
Four of the five women, aged between 18 and 28, did not have passports.
Also detained was a 49-year-old local man who is the caretaker of the premisse that fronts as a reflexology centre.
The outlet was believed to have been operating for five months.
During the raid, police seized nine packages of condoms including several that had been used.
It is learnt that they attracted customers by giving them a call or by sending text messages offering sex services at RM 138 per session.
All suspects were being detained at the Gombak police station for further investigation.
