Khalid not keen on serving another term as Selangor MB

Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said he would complete his current term and was not keen to serve another term in charge of the state government even if the opposition were to continue to hold the reins.
"I do not intend to stay on for the third term. But I will complete my term. I just want to be remembered as a person who has served the people," he said in his Twitter post.
Khalid has been criticised over his leadership by Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) top leaders and recently Jelutong MP Jeff Ooi of the DAP called for him to be sacked over the water crisis in Selangor.
National Water Services Commission (SPAN) today announced that the water rationing in Selangor would be lifted effective tomorrow.
Khalid was appointed menteri besar on March 13, 2008 following the opposition pact of Pakatan Rakyat winning in Selangor in the 12th general election (GE12). He was reappointed for the second term after GE13 last May. – Bernama
