“Many parents have approached me and claim that all this is part of a devious attempt to convert their children to Islam,” said DAP Sarawak Vice-Chairman Leon Jimat Donald.
He added that he would be writing to the Education Minister regarding this issue “if the complaints turn out to be true”.
He also urged teachers at MRSM Betong to “stop these covert conversion tactics”.
Exclaiming, “This was Sarawak”, Leon added, “and such reckless covert actions do not bode well for the citizens of this State”.
