More people are being sought by police to help in the investigations. – The Malaysian Insider file pic, September 20, 2015.Police are looking for two men to facilitate investigations into the murder of deputy public prosecutor (DPP) Kevin Anthony Morais, whose body was found in a cement-filled oil drum in Subang Jaya last Wednesday.
Kuala Lumpur police CID chief Datuk Zainuddin Ahmad said the duo from Kedah could shed light on the police probe into the case.
They are Vishwanath Murugaya, 25 (IC No: 901105025131), whose last known address is Taman Desa Karangan, Sg Karangan, Kedah; and Dinishwarana Raman, 23 (IC No: 921117025903), whose last known address is Batu Pekaka Estate, Kedah.
Those with information on the duo should contact the nearest police station or Kuala Lumpur police at 03-21460585 or 03-21460584.
It was reported that Morais went missing after leaving his home at Menara Duta for work on September 4 in a grey Proton Perdana bearing the registration plate WA6264Q.
A few days later, police confirmed that Morais was abducted.
There was no news of his whereabouts until police picked up seven people, including a 52-year-old army doctor early last week.
Four out of the seven were remanded by police and one of them led the authorities to the location of the body in Subang Jaya.
Yesterday, police picked up two more suspects in relation to the murder of the DPP.
The men, aged 46 and 47, were nabbed at a car wash near a food court in Jinjang, bringing the number of people arrested to nine.
Both suspects were remanded until September 24, while two suspects have since been released.
