Motorist, 42, suffers slight injuries in incident in Jelutong, Penang.
GEORGE TOWN: A 42-year-old man reversed his car off a third-floor parking lot of an apartment here, crashing into a guard post below.
In the 7pm incident, the man and his wife had returned to their apartment in Jelutong in a Chevrolet Optra.
His wife alighted from the car and waited for her husband to park.
Investigators say the man who was going in reverse into his lot, crashed into the barrier before plunging three floors down.
Northeast district police chief ACP Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said the man suffered light injuries and was taken to the Penang Hospital for treatment.
No one else was injured.
