So, no one in Umno supreme council knows who MO1 is?

YOURSAY | ‘Honestly, is everyone in Umno intellectually deficient?’
Victor Johan: Kinabatangan MP cum Umno supreme council member cum Felcra chairperson Bung Moktar Radin made three very smart statements:
1) "Yeah, they (is it the US Department of Justice or Malaysian opposition leaders or Malaysian citizens' outcry?) can pinpoint Najib, but since the name wasn't there, ‘MO1' can be anybody, can be you (the journalists in attendance) or me... It (Malaysian Official 1) can be nobody too."
2) "We (Umno supreme council members) are seriously concerned about (DOJ's suits). We, the MT (supreme council) and Malaysian government support and will cooperate with DOJ."
3) "If these people (DOJ) want to give you money for nothing, you welcome them."
You made all these statements in just one press event. All Malaysians should be proud of you.
By the way, is your 'Can Be Anybody' a relative of Riza Aziz, helms the government and chairs the 1MDB advisory board?
I was also wondering if this is how Umno supreme council meetings, to discuss party and national issues, are convened and concluded?
FellowMalaysian: Bung said, “If these people want to give you money for nothing, you welcome them.”
Not so quick, Bung. The US courts would have to declare that the funds used to illegally acquire the various properties in question came from money laundered from 1MDB before it can be returned to the country.
Accepting the funds back will mean admitting that they are funds stolen from 1MDB. And 1MDB is a public trust agency - the government of Umno-BN is responsible and is held accountable for its losses.
Why are they not furiously looking for the crook or crooks?
Anonymous 1890491455255851: Honestly, is everyone in Umno intellectually deficient?
Firstly, MO1 can't be just anybody. None of us are related to Riza Aziz or is the person who has the main authority over the fund.
Secondly, the US is not giving money to us for nothing. This is money that was raised via a US bond issue, part of which it alleges had gone into the PM's account and allegedly used to purchase of properties and other indulgences.
Odin TajuĂ©: Bung, doubtless, you were puffed up with self-importance as you addressed yourself to those reporters, but you were completely oblivious to the scrutiny of others beyond your nose, which organ obviously delineates the limit of your intellect and worldview, however you define the word ‘worldview’.
I shall quote one Niccolò Machiavelli (1469–1527). “The first method for estimating the intelligence of a ruler,” he asserted, “is to look at the men he has around him.”
In your case, substitute ‘ruler’ with ‘leader’ and add ‘honesty’ to ‘intelligence’. If the inferior quality of your leader has even before now been made abundantly clear for all to see, you and your colleagues in the supreme council of your party have demolished even a microscopic bit of doubt that might have existed in the observers before your orally-delivered proof and exhibition of your unflattering disposition.
Your feigned or faked ignorance of the identity of the individual referred to in the DOJ court filings as MO1 points to your condescending demeanour towards your audience, your insulting of their very intelligence, as only imbeciles would not be able to determine his identity.
Your making of your utterance was plainly an act of blatantly lying to them. You were lucky you were facing a timid, unquestioning lot.
Had you tried that in the less-prone-to-yielding, more inquisitive societies such as in the West, you would have been torn into shreds, figuratively speaking, and shamed beyond redemption as whatever credibility you might have was blown into nothingness.
As well, your stubborn refusal to acknowledge and appropriately deal with the scandalous financial impropriety at hand amply proves the accuracy of the idiom about birds of a feather flocking together.
To end my comment, I shall quote the prince again - “It is not titles that honour men, but men that honour titles.”
You have dishonoured your title into repulsive putrefaction, and thus you have immeasurably shamed the giver of it. Lucky for most of you title holders but sadly for the decent Malaysians, the givers of Malaysian titles do seem unaffected by insults.
Mokopono: The Prophet (SAW) said: "Allah does not punish the individuals for the sins of the community until they see the evil spreading among themselves, and while they have the power to stop it, do not do so." (Imam Ahmad)
Multi Racial: This is how a country failed - not only because of evil persons but because the rest do nothing about it.
If none of the BN politicians and existing authorities have the courage to act, Malaysians will have to wait for the next general election to do something about it.
This time they have to make sure to vote those politicians who are clean and honest as well as those have the courage to do their job without fear or favour.

Whatsup: They have to choose between integrity and stupidity - and they chose stupidity. One wonders how they could be elected in the first place and appointed to various responsibilities?
Lawmakers? What a disgrace. - Mkini
