The main building of Hospital Sultan Aminah was evacuated at 1.35pm today after smoke was spotted there, Bernama reported.
Six patients died and more than 10, mostly personnel, died in a fire at the intensive care unit yesterday.
Malaysiakini understands that a fire is suspected to have broken out at the operating theatre this afternoon.
Three staff members are injured and are treated in the Emergency Department, it is learnt.
