Penang BN eyeing 8 vulnerable Harapan seats - Guan Eng

GE14 | Penang BN has set its sights on eight Pakatan Harapan seats they deem "vulnerable", said DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng.
Lim said if Harapan were to fulfil the 68 election promises he unveiled in Penang last night, they have to win the elections with more seats and save the eight which are vulnerable.
"BN is targetting eight seats as vulnerable, so we have to win five more state seats (from BN) and three more of their parliamentary seats," said Lim, who is contesting the Bagan parliamentary and Air Putih state seats.
"But there is no sure win, only hard work if we want to win.
"Our parliamentary seats are secure but out state seats can be vulnerable," the state Harapan chief conceded.
Lim later said his opponents in BN are aware of the coalition's vulnerable seats targetted in the coming 14th national polls.
"We are also aware of which seats are vulnerable, and are being targetted by BN," he said after launching the Harapan state manifesto at the Penang Chinese Town Hall last night.
In 2013, their previous coalition Pakatan Rakyat won 30 seats - DAP, 19, PKR 10, and PAS one. Umno won only 10 seats, while Gerakan, MCA and MCI failed to win any.
Out of 13 parliamentary seats, Umno holds three, while DAP seven and PKR, three.
This year's polls, BN, Harapan and PAS in collaboration with several parties as Gagasan Sejahtera, are contesting 13 parliamentary and 40 state seats.
All seats are set to face multicornered fights with the participation of parties like PSM, PRM, Parti Cinta Malaysia, Penang Front Party and Malaysian United Party. - Mkini
