ACCUSED OF BEING RING LEADERS IN PAS’ ‘CORRUPTION CARTEL’ – YET NIK ABDUH & TERENGGANU MB, BOTH CLOSE TO HADI, SLATED TO BE ‘PROMOTED’ TO PARTY VEEPS

There’s an effort to make sure two PAS personalities, close to its president Abdul Hadi Awang, win the vice-president posts in the annual muktamar.
A source said that the two are Bachok MP Nik Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz (and Terengganu MB Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar.
The 65th Muktamar is expected to take place in Kuantan, Pahang, this month.
“There’s a campaign to make sure that these two wins in the contest,” the source said.

It is learned that the contest will see candidates vying for the vice-president, as well as for the PAS central committee.
The source said there will be three vacant vice-president posts. Two are expected to be filled by Nik Abduh and Samsuri (below), while another post is up for grabs.
Upon learning about the campaign, there has been an effort by other party members to stop Nik Mohamad and Ahmad Samsuri from progressing, the source said.
“One party wants these two to rise, while another disagrees and wants to stop them,” said the source.
Nik Abduh was involved in a controversy when an audio recording of him made its round on social media.
The audio recording revealed that the Islamic party had received funds from Umno.
Initially, he refuted that the voice in the audio belonged to him, but changed his mind after the PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan (above) confirmed that it was Nik Abduh’s voice in the audio recording.
Following that, Hadi’s son-in-law Zahiruddin Muhammad made a revelation about a group of PAS members who received funds from Umno.
He labelled them the “dedak cartel”.
Dedak, or animal feed, is a Malay term for bribes made famous by Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
