The new members are former Federal Court judges Suriyadi Halim Omar and Prasad Sandosham Abraham; former Appeals Court judge Stephen Chung Hian Guan; and the dean of Universiti Malaya’s law faculty Assoc Prof Johan Shamsuddin Sabaruddin.
A statement from the commission said Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin had agreed to their appointment.
They will serve for a period of two years until Sept 3, 2022.
The four new members replace Mohd Hishamudin Md Yunus, Linton Albert, Mah Weng Kwai and Prof Emeritus Shad Saleem Faruqi, whose terms ended yesterday.
