KOTA KINABALU: An NGO here has come up with a video clip to encourage their fellow Sabahans to come out and vote in the Sept 26 polls.
Community Empowerment Initiative (CEI) Sabah spokesperson Gayle Jokinin said the four-minute “Bangkit Sabah” clip was also aimed at promoting unity among Sabahans.
“The message is for all Sabahans to unite and vote to determine the future of our next generation,” she said.
She said caretaker Chief Minister Shafie Apdal was featured in the video clip as his speech focused on the need for strong bonds of unity among Sabahans.
She said the video clip was part of CEI’s objectives and was not aimed at promoting any party.
“It has definitely resonated with many Sabahans and Malaysians. Many politicians from various parties have shared and re-posted the video on their social media,” Jokinin said. - FMT
