PKR: Was PN registered with ROS when fielding candidates in Sabah?

Malaysiakini

PKR information chief Shamsul Iskandar wants Perikatan Nasional (PN) to explain if the coalition was registered with the Registrar of Societies (ROS) when it fielded 29 candidates during nomination day of the Sabah election on Sept 12.
This is after PKR Youth vice-chief Syed Badli Shah Syed Osman complained that a search of the ROS database, as of Sept 14, did not show any registration for PN.
"I challenge (Prime Minister) Muhyiddin (Yassin) to show to the public evidence of PN's registration approval that is officially issued by the ROS.
"If PN is not yet formally registered, then I demand that the Election Commission disqualify all candidates contesting under the PN ticket," Shamsul (photo, above) said in a statement.
Shamsul said voters are to choose from among parties that are legally registered.
PN debuted its logo carrying the words "Perikatan Nasional" with a dark blue background in the Sabah election, which will take place on Sept 26.
Campaigning began last Saturday. PN is allied with BN and PBS, which have also fielded 41 and 22 candidates respectively.
However, they will be clashing in 17 out of the 73 seats.
Their goal is to unseat the incumbent Warisan Plus government comprising Warisan, Pakatan Harapan and Upko. - Mkini
