KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is scheduled to deliver a special address to the nation at 2.30pm today on additional measures to mitigate the economic impact caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
A notice on the televised address titled "Perutusan Khas Kita Prihatin" was made available to the New Straits Times this morning.
The address will be aired live on Radio Televisyen Malaysia, Bernama TV, TV3 and Astro Awani.
The Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) implemented since June 10 to reduce the risk of transmission within the community entered its 107th day today.
To date, the government has rolled out the Prihatin Rakyat Economic Stimulus Package worth RM250 billion, the additional economic stimulus package worth RM10 billion and the Penjana Economic Recovery Plan worth RM35 billion to reduce the impact of Covid-19. - malaymail
